Disney is utilizing cutting-edge Audio-Animatronics technology, drawing inspiration from classics like The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean, to create an immersive and captivating experience. The Coco ride will be located adjacent to Incredicoaster, with new dining experiences possibly overhauling the existing Paradise Garden Grill.
The expansion also includes a new land based on James Cameron's Avatar films, bringing the enchanting world of Pandora to life. The marquee boat ride will take guests on a journey through both indoor and outdoor settings, offering a unique and thrilling experience. This new land will replace Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!, a family-friendly dark ride, and will also displace some areas of the Hollywood Land.
Additionally, Madame Leota's Swinging Wake, a Haunted Mansion Street Party, will be introduced as a replacement for the Frightfully Fun Parade, which is unable to happen due to construction. This new production will feature ballroom dancers, ghosts, and the subjects of the portraits in the stretching room, adding a unique twist to the classic Disneyland Park attraction.
